History of the Church
The Emergent Catholic Church has from its foundation, been a place where the Emergent Church Movement has been revisited in a very Catholic and very intentionally way to help our members build real friendship. We have the vast traditions of catholicism, but with the privilege of modern lay-led creativity and art to build on over 2000 years of the Jesus Movement. We hope to be a home for those who want to explore this “God thing” while providing you with resources to help you deconstruct past faith trauma and build a new relationship with the Creator. We will never ask you to believe anything or convert. We will allow YOU, no matter the you, to explore the Creator through a very Catholic and Christian lens. With your help, a new Catholic faith will Emerge.
Our Mission
The Emergent Catholic Church full heartily does not discriminate for any reason. The entirety of the LGBTQIA2S+ Community plus every nationality, race and whatever is welcomed, accepted, and affirmed, and allowed to receive all sacraments including Marriage! We believe in many genders, that all genders are equal and made in the image of God! We do not discriminate on the bases of gender, sexual orientation, nationality, race, mentle condition, or any label that the human population puts on its fellow siblings.
